Part of our ethos at Tropical Daydream has centered around being actively involved in keeping the beaches and waters of Kailua safe and clean. We organize bi-weekly beachcombing groups to remove waste and hazards during low-tide, rewarding those under 18 who volunteer for 2 days with a free surfing or yoga class.

Providing opportunites for young people to come together, contribute and strengthen ties with their community is important to us, and we take pride in helping others feel more motivated to contribute and be a force of positive change. We want the soft white sands of our beautiful Big Island to be enjoyed for generations to come.

We recently launched the Tropical Daydream Initiative, a non-profit with 100% of proceeds utiziled to make clean-up days more productive, such as sharps containers, metal detectors, rakes, shovels, trash spears, gloves, collection bags/bins, carts, and covering fees to drop off collected waste. This also covers team meals.
